COURSE DESCRIPTION
The NVQ Level 05 Diploma in Cosmetology is an advanced vocational qualification designed for beauty professionals who wish to enhance their technical expertise and advance their careers in the aesthetics and beauty industry. The programme provides in-depth knowledge and practical training in advanced skincare, cosmetology, aesthetic treatments, beauty therapy, client assessment, salon management, and professional ethics.
Combining academic learning with hands-on industry experience, the programme prepares students to deliver advanced cosmetic and beauty services while developing the managerial and entrepreneurial skills required to succeed in today’s competitive beauty sector. Upon successful completion, learners will be awarded the NVQ Level 05 Diploma in Cosmetology, recognised by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) of Sri Lanka, opening pathways to senior industry roles, entrepreneurship, and further higher education opportunities.

Applicants must have successfully completed the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advance Level (A/L) examination or an equivalent qualification to be eligible for enrolment.
This program contains 13 Units that are required to cover in the allocated hours for the course.
