COURSE DESCRIPTION
The NVQ Level 04 in Hairdresser is a nationally recognised vocational qualification designed for individuals who aspire to build a successful career in the professional hairdressing industry. This comprehensive programme combines theoretical knowledge with extensive practical training, enabling students to develop expertise in hair cutting, colouring, styling, chemical treatments, scalp and hair care, client consultation, salon operations, and professional health and safety practices.
Delivered by experienced industry professionals, the programme equips learners with the technical skills, confidence, and professionalism required to work in leading salons or establish their own hairdressing business. Upon successful completion, students will receive the NVQ Level 04 qualification awarded by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) of Sri Lanka, a nationally recognised credential that supports career progression in the beauty and hair industry.

Professional Hairdresser, Hair Stylist, Bridal Hair Stylist, Hairdressing Trainer or Demonstrator (with relevant experience), Hair Treatment Specialist, Self-employment or private hairdressing businesses
The candidate should have completed the GCE O/L qualification to enroll.
Applicants must have successfully completed the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level (O/L) examination or an equivalent qualification to be eligible for enrolment.
