Mr. Kasun Deemantha Caldera is the director of the Colombo Institute of Higher Education Campus. He has completed his BBA Special (Hons) in Marketing Management – (SLIIT), and He completed a Certificate in Digital Marketing – (APIDM). He has been in debater since his school days and is a great public speaker and communicator.

After his academics, He started his career at Sri Lankan Airlines, Aviation Collage back in 2014. He has substantial experience in debating and public speaking skills. He has also been a trainer of a few programs, and with that, he entered into the Education industry where he held a few managerial positions at Educational Institutes, handling all the management responsibilities to develop the businesses in the field. After a few years of exposure to the education field, he enters the corporate sector. He contributes which his many skills that, includes digital marketing skills, market research skills, and people management and negotiation skills.  Moreover, he has worked as a visiting academic in the fields of Business and IT for 2+ years, from October 2019 to the present.

In 2019 he has been experienced as a lecturer and as a researcher in the educational field and got the industry’s exposure in a more profound sense professionally. With those experiences and direction of the industry and the managerial experiences, he inspired the idea of establishing the Colombo Institute of Higher Education Campus. Mr. Kasun Caldera has been elected as the President of SLIIT Alumni from 2022 until 2023, and he serves as a senior member of SLIIT Alumni from 2018 – to 2021.
