Mr. Raveen Senevirathne completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree at the University of Kelaniya with the second lower division in mathematics, physics, and electronics. Since then, he was interested in business analytics and management and he successfully completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Wolverhampton (UK) with a distinction pass. For the MBA dissertation, he researched “Application of Big Data Analytics on Strategic Marketing Decisions” to combine IT with business analytics, and he obtained a distinction pass for the dissertation. Thereafter, Mr. Raveen Senevirathne completed the Master of Law (LLM) in international business law specializing in information technology and intellectual property law, at the University of Cardiff Metropolitan (UK) with a merit pass. Moreover, for the LLM dissertation of “Data Privacy of Data Centers in Sri Lankan Legal Regime: Insights from EU and USA Jurisdictions”, he achieved a distinction pass.

After the completion of his B.Sc., Mr. Raveen joined the University of Kelaniya as a demonstrator in the department of physics and electronics. As a demonstrator, he delivered electronic lectures for undergraduates and supervised final year research projects. Later on, he joined with Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) PLC IT group for his MBA research through their graduate trainee program. Mr. Raveen has experience working as an Assistant Manager and a Business Analyst throughout the past two years at OLAK Technologies (PVT) Ltd, where he has performed various research on markets and client requirements.
